Old friendships are something to be treasured, correct? Amberlee was the first person I met in elementary school, after transferring from a new school. She was my point of contact, gave me a tour and became my very first friend at the new school. As time went on, we shared sleepovers, went to Skateland (yeah, I’m old enough to remember when skating rinks were cool) together and walked home together on occasion.
